Information we collect

• Burd Driver collects location data when the app is in use
• Burd Driver collects location data when the app is running in the background

We collect location data when that app is active, both in the foreground (app is open and visible) and in the background (app is not visible). The location data is used to give parcel receivers an estimated time of arrival (ETA) as well as to log the actual delivery location.

The Burd Driver app also requires camera access. Camera access is needed to scan parcel barcodes and to document parcel placement, in case parcel receiver has picked a parcel placement.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including:

• Customer support to find parcels that have been delivered wrongly
• ETA to parcel receivers
• Find and prevent fraud
• Proof that parcel was delivered correctly
